The days are getting longer and that can only mean one thing, that Bermuda Day in the UK celebrations are here once again. 

Bermudian vibes will take center stage in the heart of London’s Camden Town as Bermuda and her beautiful people takes over Lockside Camden once again for a fun-filled day, packed full of great music, fantastic food straight off of the barbecue, a great selection of Bermudian drink and live music from Bermudian artists and dj. Plus FIVE HAWKS RUM SWIZZLE, BERMUDIAN BAKED GOODS & TEE SHIRTS ON SALE.

This year, we welcome back a very special guest, the mighty REGGAE ROAST, with UK reggae supremo HORSEMAN and UB40 saxophonist ADJ.

Reggae Roast are one of the UK’s leading Reggae / Dancehall & Jungle Soundsystem crews. Combining the label, events & soundsystem they have forged a reputation as the leading light in the resurgence of the UK dub scene. Their events are considered to be one of London’s premiere Reggae Soundsystem Events. Over the years Reggae Roast have hosted world renowned artists including; The Wailers, Lee Scratch Perry, Sly and Robbie, Collie Budz, Mad Professor, David Rodigan, Suggs (Madness), Channel One, Trojan Soundsystem, Gappy Ranks, Finley Quaye, Aba Shanti I, Mungo’s Hi Fi and many many more.

HORSEMAN needs no introduction! His hard-hitting beats have backed the best Reggae artists in the business; Max Romeo, Little Roy and many more.

Famous for his precision timing and fearsome delivery he is just as comfortable on the mic as behind the kit. The Horse can be seen roaming across Europe appearing at clubs and festivals MCing with the Prince Fatty Soundsystem & Hollie Cook.

Having worked alongside producers and engineers such as Jah Shaka and Mad Professor, he has guaranteed his status both in the studio and on stage.

ADJ is an amazing saxophonist who is equally comfortable playing with DJ’s as he is performing live or working in a studio setting with the likes of UB40, Atlantic Soul Orchestra and the Ruff Sqwad, to name a few. He has held weekly residencies and performs regularly at the Pianoworks, Blues Kitchen, Jazz Cafe and more. 

This is set to be another great day as Bermudians and non-Bermudians come together to party, enjoy island flavors and celebrate Bermuda Day in true Bermy-style with loads of codfish cakes, jerk chicken, potato salad, peas and rice and fish chowder. 

Out on the balcony, DJs will set a tropical landscape on the 1s and 2s, sending Bermudian vibes across the Camden Lock.

Started in 2009. The Bermuda Day in the UK events are seen as one of the highlights of Bermudians living in the UK’s yearly social calendar; not only providing a great day of entertainment, but also sharing the secrets of Bermuda: Her arts, food, culture and talents to Londoners and UK residents in general. 

In that time, we have created networking platforms, amazing memories and educated thousands of patrons about the island through games, activities, food, live performances and social engagement.

With hundreds of people attending throughout the day, Bermuda Day UK is one of the biggest continuously held Bermuda themed events in the UK bringing the uniqueness of our beautiful island line-up that celebrates the very best of the city and countryside.
