Brandon Thompson (A.K.A Mr. Dread) is a Bermudian born Rastafarian and Reggae Artist influenced by Bob Marley, Jacob Miller, Beres Hammond, Tenor Saw, Issacs and many others. He is one among the talented reggae singers and groups that arose in the late 70’s and early 80’s in Bermuda mainly due to Dub City Records and its promotion of reggae music on the island.
