Maxi Priest, one of the first and most successful international reggae fusion artists of all-time, rehearses @ Bermuda’s Legendary CHEWSTICK Neo-Griot Lounge for the Bermuda John Lennon Double Fantasy Tribute concert which will be held on Friday, September 21st @ The Bermuda Botanical Gardens. The auditions for the Lennon tribute CD were also held at Chewstick’s headquarters, 28 Elliott Street, Hamilton.

Sally Bassett was an enslaved mixed-race woman from Bermuda. She was declared guilty and burned at the stake in June 1730 for the attempted murder by poisoning of her slaveholder masters. She always claimed her innocence. Her notoriety has influenced Bermudian history and cultural heritage. (click image for more info)
