Bermuda Day is a National Holiday in Bermuda. It is always celebrated on May 24th, or the weekday nearest May 24 if that date falls on the weekend.
The highlight of the Bermuda Day Holiday, is the elaborate Heritage Day Parade in Hamilton and locals are well known to stake out particular sections along the route as much as 48 hours in advance in order to have a front seat as the runners and floats pass by!
