Ongoing Witness Appeal: Jonathan Dill Murder Investigation

Detectives from the Serious Crime Unit continue to investigate the murder of Mr. Jonathan Dill, which occurred on the evening of 2nd September, 2013.

Members of the public will recall that Mr. Dill was shot whilst he was at the residence of a friend. A number of witnesses and items of forensic evidence were collected from the scene. In the days following the incident, the following image from a local CCTV camera captured a light coloured car driving up The Glebe Road towards the old “Pepper Pot.”

Detectives believe that the driver of this car may be able to assist the enquiry team. We are asking that if you were the driver of this vehicle that was driving up The Glebe Road at approximately 10:20 pm on Monday 2nd September, 2013 – please call detectives from the Serious Crime Unit on 247-1739.

The Senior Investigating Officer is Detective Inspector Dave Greenidge.

Argo Group Gold Cup #Bermuda 2013 – Highlights & Finals

Francesco Bruni and Ben Ainslie made it to the Finals of the Argo Group Gold Cup and the ensuing match was a thriller going the full 5 matches.


The penultimate event of the season returns to Hamilton Harbour, Bermuda for the Argo Group Gold Cup, Stage 5 of the Alpari World Match Racing Tour.

With fierce competition at the top of the Tour leaderboard, the event runs an expanded field of competition with 20 of the world’s top sailors including Sir Ben Ainslie of Great Britain fresh from his successful defence of the America’s Cup with Oracle Team USA and Francesco Bruni of Luna Rossa who was the runner up on the Tour in 2011 competing for the oldest trophy in Match Racing using one design boats, the King Edward VII Gold Cup.

Close rivalry between the Tour Card Holders and the challengers to decide who will finish at the top and take the all important Alpari Tour Championship points into the season finale – the Monsoon Cup.

Top three on the leaderboard Ian Williams (GBR) GAC Pindar, Taylor Canfield (ISV) USone and Adam Minoprio (NZL) Team Alpari FX will have to show all their match racing expertise to stay at the top!

Argo Group Gold Cup
