BIOGRAPHY
Born in the tiny island of Bermuda, J. Blakke has been playing music since the age of 4. Starting out on the piano, moving to the sax at 12 and beginning to DJ at 18 while studying in Florida. He’s been influenced by everything from Country to Soca, but Hip Hop has had his heart since introduced to him properly by his cousin in the early 80’s. His eclectic taste in music however has always laced his sets. It’s not uncommon for him to go from deep Hip Hop to dark DnB to A-Ha in one mix.
